The Elm is a plant of the Ulmaceae family, coming from central-south Europe and from the Caucasian region.
In Italy it is very popular in any area until 1.000 m.; it can reach 30 m height; foliage light and elegant.
In the past it was used as grapes protector. The wood of country Elm, of good quality, easily machinable and water proof, is used for the manufacturing of furniture, doors, floors and in the production of plywood.
The plant is also used for decor reasons in gardens and parks.

Possible imperfections, cracks or colour differences are not object of complaint: in nature, no plant is the same as another one.
