Decoration with majolica and stabilized plants, Mediterranean Afternoon

This one boasts the brightest coloured Majolicas of the entire collection. Its one-colour-only yellow tiles alternate with the light-blue and turquoise ones. The renowed citrus fruits of Sicily inspired this creation, recalling the brightest hours of the afternoon sun after midday. The preserved greenery used to decorate it include emerald-green foliage, orange leaves and mustard-coloured wild flowers. It is a tribute to the typical warm, sunny days of the Mediterranean coastlines.
